UPESSC Principal Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 111 Principal Vacancies.The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has officially released the UPESSC Principal Recruitment 2026 Notification under Advertisement No. 02/2026. Through this recruitment drive, the commission aims to fill 111 Principal (Pracharya) vacancies in government-aided degree colleges across Uttar Pradesh.

UPESSC Principal Recruitment 2026 Notification

UPESSC has invited online applications from eligible Indian candidates for appointment to Principal posts in aided degree colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can submit only one online application after completing the One Time Registration (OTR) process. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Principal post must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

  • Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 15 years of teaching or research experience as a Professor or Associate Professor in a university, college, or other higher education institution.
  • At least 10 research publications published in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
  • Minimum 110 Academic Performance Indicator (API) Research Score as prescribed.

For Law Colleges and Teacher Education Colleges, eligibility will be determined according to the relevant statutory body guidelines.
