JEE Advanced Result 2026: Check Scorecard, AIR Rank and Cutoff. The wait is finally about to end for thousands of engineering aspirants across the country. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is all set to declare the JEE Advanced 2026 result today, June 1, at 10:00 AM.

Candidates who appeared for one of India’s toughest engineering entrance examinations will soon be able to check their scores, ranks, and qualifying status. Along with the results, the institute is also expected to release the final answer key and category-wise cutoff marks.

For many students, this result represents months—if not years—of hard work, preparation, and sacrifice. The outcome will determine their chances of securing admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other top engineering institutions through the upcoming counselling process.

JEE Advanced 2026: A Crucial Step Towards IIT Admission

JEE Advanced 2026 was conducted on May 17 in two shifts for candidates who successfully qualified JEE Main 2026. The examination is considered the final gateway to IIT admissions and attracts some of the brightest students from across the country every year.

Following the release of provisional answer keys and response sheets, students have been eagerly waiting for the final verdict. Social media platforms and student forums have been buzzing with discussions around expected cutoffs, rank predictions, and admission possibilities.

Result Expected Along With Final Answer Key

IIT Roorkee will release the final answer key alongside the result. Candidates will be able to view their subject-wise marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with their aggregate score and rank details.

Students who meet the prescribed qualifying criteria will be included in the rank list and become eligible for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process.

How to Check JEE Advanced 2026 Result

Cutoff May Witness a Dip This Year

Several education experts believe that the JEE Advanced 2026 paper was more challenging compared to previous years, especially in Mathematics and Physics sections.

As a result, many coaching institutes and analysts are predicting a slightly lower qualifying cutoff this year. However, the official cutoff marks will only be confirmed once IIT Roorkee publishes the result and rank list.

Despite the expected drop in cutoff, competition for top branches such as Computer Science Engineering at premier IITs is likely to remain intense.

Next Stop: JoSAA Counselling

After the declaration of results, the focus will shift to JoSAA counselling. Qualified candidates will have to register, fill in their preferred institutes and courses, and participate in the seat allocation process.

Admissions will be offered across IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutions based on rank, category, seat availability, and candidate preferences.
