IGCAR Apprentice Notification 2026

IGCAR has invited online applications for apprenticeship training in 18 different ITI trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship programme is intended to provide technical training and practical exposure to ITI-qualified candidates in a highly specialized research environment.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • ITI Pass Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

The trade qualification should correspond exactly to the trade for which the candidate is applying.

Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any Government, PSU, or private organization are not eligible to apply.

Monthly Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to Government apprenticeship norms.
