Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) conducts the recruitment process for the post of Junior Assistant in various departments of the state government of Uttar Pradesh every year. Candidates who get selected for the posts of Junior Assistant in UPSSSC will be paid as per the pay Matrix level 3. They will get monthly pay scale of Rs.5, 200 to Rs.20, 200/- with a grade pay of Rs.2000/-.
Selection Process of UPSSSC Junior Assistant Post:
Selection of the candidates for this post will be done through main written test, skill test and documents verification process. However, the initial short listing of the candidates for main written examination will be done bases the UP PET scorecard 2021.
Main Written exam: written exam of 65 marks will be conducted that will have 3 different sections. Below is the exam pattern, and total exam duration is 1 hour 30 minutes.

Each question carries 0.5 marks and there will be deductions of 0.25 for each incorrect answer (negative marking).
Skill Test: A computer bases skill test will be conducted for the candidates qualifying in main written examination. This will be a typing skill test, in which candidates must type certain numbers of words per minute to get qualified.
Documents Verification and Medical Examination – Candidates must produce all the documents related to their education, identity proof, category proof and income proof in this round. Post which, candidates will be called for medical round, to check their medical fitness for the post.
