The candidates have started their preparation for the recruitment examination that is conducted for admission in Air Force, Army & Navy for the 147th course & the 109th INAC (Indian Naval Academy Course) that will commence from 2nd January 2022.
Applying for the National Defense Academy & Naval Academy Exam (I) 2021 has been completed. The examination for the NDA I recruitment has been scheduled to take place on 18th April 2021. Thus, the hall ticket for the exam will also be released very soon.
The candidates who are wishing to withdraw their application can do so by visiting the website “upsc.gov.in” from 27th January 2021 to 2nd February 2021 up to 06:00 p.m. However, if anyone wishes to do any correction in the form, they cannot do it. There are total vacancies of 400 posts, out of which 370 seats will be filled in NDA, whereas the remaining 30 seats will be filled in the Naval Academy.
Over the years, the NDA Examination is conducted as a written exam, that is, on OMR sheets. The syllabus of the exam consists of a general ability test and mathematics. The candidates need to know the syllabus properly to prepare well for the examination.
The general ability test paper consists of various subjects like chemistry, history, physics, geography, current affairs & general science. The overall syllabus is based on class 12 level, as it is the minimum qualification required to appear in the examination.
The question paper of the NDA Examination will consist of various MCQs. The total duration of the examination will be two and a half hours for every paper. The media in which the question paper will be made are Hindi and English.
The general ability test paper will consist of 600 marks, and the mathematics paper will contain 300 marks. For every incorrect answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted from the candidate’s total marks.
The candidates who will qualify for the written test will be called for the SSB interview, which will be conducted for five days. At this stage, most of the candidates will be eliminated, and only the best candidates will be chosen for admission to the nation’s prestigious defense academies.
The candidates must solve the question papers of the previous years for better preparation for the examination. By solving the papers of previous years, the candidates can know about the type and nature of the questions asked in the examination & can get a better idea about the examination.
Also, the candidates should appear for various mock tests that are available online free of cost. It will help them to improve their strategies for time management. The candidates should solve all their confusions & problems to avoid last time rush on such confusions.
At first, the candidates must have a better understanding of the theoretical concepts, and then they should start practicing the numerical problems once they have cleared their theoretical concepts. The candidates should also keep revising all the important facts & figures.
As the examination allows the candidates’ admission in the prestigious defense academies of India, the candidates must have a good knowledge of the scientific concepts required for a successful career in the Army, Navy & Air Force.
