UPSC CAPF Notification 2021 will release on 15 April 2021, CAPF exam will conduct on 8th August, Four Stages of exam Written exam, Medical and Physical Standard, Interview, Merit List.

The full form of CAPF is Central Armed Police Force. CAPF is the common name for India’s seven security forces, all of which are under the Ministry of Home Affairs’ control. CAPF’s mission is to assist the Government of India in maintaining public order, legal rules and regulations, and internal security effectively and efficiently.

CAPF is also concerned with keeping national dignity, promoting social stability, and growth by prioritizing service and loyalty.

UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam Notification 2021 :

On April 15, the CAPF(AC) 2021 notification will be publicly disclosed. On August 8, the CAPF (AC) exam will be held. The CAPF (AC) exam allows for direct entry into the paramilitary forces of India at the Assistant Commandant (AC) level.

    Every year, the CAPF exam is held to recruit candidates for the aforementioned position in the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). The CAPF’s cadre governing authority is the Ministry of Home Affairs. The nodal authority for the physical and medical quality test is appointed by the Ministry of Home (PST).

    UPSC CAPF Eligibility criteria and Educational Qualification 2021: 

    The eligibility condition for UPSC CAPF are mentioned below:-

    Nationality :
    • The nominee must be an Indian resident.
    • Candidates who are Nepalese or Bhutanese are also qualified to apply for the exam.
    • No one else is qualified to take the UPSC CAPF test.
    Age limit : 

    The CAPF test has a lower age limit of 20 years and a higher age limit of fewer than 25 years. The age is measured from the 1 August of the exam year. Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1996, and August 1, 2001, to be qualified to sit for the UPSC CAPF exam 2021.

    • The candidate must have a Bachelors’s degree from any recognized university, according to the official CAPF announcement.
    • Candidates who are in the final year of their graduate program can also apply for the examination, but they must submit the qualifying exam’s final year mark sheet along with the comprehensive application form.
    • At the time of the interview, candidates with the NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate will be given preference. These qualifications will only be taken into account during the interview/personality test.

    UPSC CAPF Selection Process 2021:

    Candidates for roles in the armed forces, such as the SSB, ITBP, CISF, DRPF, and BSF, go through a four-phased screening process:

    1.Written Exam – Written exam Contain two papers I & II. Applicant must qualify for the written exam for further procedure.

    2.Physical and Medical test – This test varies in males and females. Applicant needs to qualify this round for going in the Interview procedure.

    3.Interview and Personality Test – After Qualifying 2 rounds Now Interview will be 150 marks.

     4.Merit List- The final Merit list will prepare according to the performance in all other rounds.

    Application Fee and Mode of payment : 

    The application fee for UPSC CAPF 2021 is RS.200/- for all except SC/ST/ Female Candidate. There is no Application fee for SC/ST/ Females.

    Mode of payment: Candidate can pay the application fee either online through Debit card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking / Master card or Depositing Amount in the Bank (Any branch of SBI)

    Result :

    UPSC publishes the results of the CAPF Written Examination on its official website, The roll numbers of candidates who passed the exam and were chosen for an interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) for admission to the BSF/CISF/CRPF/ITBP/SSB are included in the result.
