As per the notification number A-3/E-1/2022, UPPSC has now released notification for UPPSC APO Main exams, which will be held in the month of December. Eligible candidates can now fill the application form at the official website of UPPSC at uppsc.up.nic.in.  This is for the post of APO in UP – Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) or Sahayak Abhiyojan Adhikari in UP.

The UPPSC APO – Assistant Prosecution Officer Prelims Examination-2022 was conducted on August 21, 2022, and the commission issued the results on September 23, 2022. A total of 64100 online applications were received for the exam, however, only 33315 people showed up to take it. In the preliminary exam, 1079 applicants (against 44 available posts) were determined qualified, and they are now qualified to take the UPPSC APO Main exam. Educational Eligibility

Aspirants must have completed graduation in LAW in order to apply for the posts, from any recognized education board.

Application process for APO main exams is not completely through online mode. Candidates, first have to fill the complete online form, after that candidate must send the hard copy of application to the UP public service commission by post, in order to complete the application process.

How To Apply For UPPSC APO Main Exam 2022

Step 1: Online form

  • Visit the UPPSC official website first –
  • On the Home Page, search for the application link under Activity Dashboard – Type “FILL ONLINE DETAILS FOR ADVT. NO. A-3/E-1/2022, ASSISTANT PROSECUTION OFFICER (M) EXAM-2022” to locate the link directly on the home page.
  • Click on the above-located link, you will be redirected to the APO Mains application page.
  • In this page, you will have to fill the form using your candidatures – Registration Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Category and finally a verification code.
  • Validate the details and click next, where it will take you to the payment form.
  • As described above, make the payment as per your category and click next.
  • It will now take you to the “Print form” section, where you have to take the complete application form print out.

Step 2: Hard copy

  • The online application form must be submitted in an envelope along with self-attested photocopies of all academic certificated and category details.
  • The UPPSC Postal Address slip should be pasted on the envelope.
  • The envelope can be delivered to the appropriate party by mail, registrar, or even in person by going to Examination Section 3 of the UP Public Service Commission.
  • Do remember that, last date for this is 19th October 2022.

UPPSC APO Main Exam Pattern 2022

For the candidates, aspiring to get into UPPSC APO position, must be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus well before. APO – Assistant Prosecution Officer, main exam will consists of 4 sections, with total 400 marks. Exam will be held for 3 Hours with a negative marking of 0.33 for each incorrect answer. However, there is no negative marking for the unanswered questions.

  •  In this Candidate’s physical fitness, characteristics, personality, and pressure handling levels will be tested. Total allotted marks for this section are 50 marks.
  • A final selection list will be prepared post the Interview round, which combines the marks obtained in APO Mains exams and Interview round.
