UPCATET is an entrance test which is conducted by Kanpur’s Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology. The candidates who want to appear for the exam will be able to fill up the application form within the last date by visiting its official website, that is, https://upcatet.org/.

The examination will be held in pen and paper mode. To get admitted, the qualified candidates must do registration for the counseling process after the declaration of the result.

Uttar Pradesh CATET Age Limit:

Lower age limit for BVS and C & AH is 17 years and upper age limit is 23 years as on 31st December 2019. Age relaxation of 5 years will be provided to the candidates belonging to OBC, SC and ST categories. Lower age limit for other courses is 16 years and upper age limit is 22 years as on 31st December 2019. Age relaxation of 5 years will be provided to the candidates belonging to OBC, SC and ST categories.

Syllabus and Pattern of the Examination:

  1. The question paper will consist of MCQs.
  2. There will be total of 200 questions in the examination.
  3. The maximum mark of the examination will be 600.

The Pattern of Examination for MBA (Agriculture Business) is given below-
  1. The candidates are required to appear for a screening test which will contain a total of 100 MCQs.
  2. The total duration of the test will be  of 2 hours.
  3. The candidates who will qualify in the examination will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list for Personal Interview & Group Discussion which will consist of 150 marks and 50 marks respectively.

Application Process of UPCATET 2021:

The candidates can fill up the application form by following the below given steps-

  1. At first, the candidates must visit the official website of UPCATET, viz. https://upcatet.org/.
  2. Then, they should find and then click on the appropriate link for filling up the application form.
  3. After that, the candidates should do the registration and fill up the application form properly as directed.
  4. They are also required to upload scanned photo, sign and thumb impression.
  5. Next, they should pay the application fee after 24 hours of doing the registration.
  6. Finally, they must print the application form and keep the printed copy safe with them for further use in future.

Application Fee:

Online modes such as credit card, net banking and debit cards can be used to pay the application fee. The last year’s application fee for the candidates belonging to different categories are given below-

  1. Application fee for the candidates of General and OBC Category- Rs.1250
  2. Application fee for the candidates of SC and ST Category- Rs.1050

UPCATET 2021 Admit Card:

Willing candidates can easily download the required and essential admit card https://upcatet.org/ once it will be released. The candidates must also carry with them a photo ID card along with the admit card during the examination, otherwise they will not be permitted to appear for the examination. The candidates should also print 2 copies of the admit card as one of it will be required to be submitted to the invigilator during the examination. 

With the help of the below mentioned process, candidates can download the admit card,

  2. Then, they must click the link indicating “UPCATET Admit Card”.
  3. Next, they should enter the required details after which their admit card will appear on the screen of the device.
  4. Finally, they should download and also print the admit card for use in future.

Some Preparation Tips:

Some preparation tips for the candidates who are preparing for UPCATET 2021 Examination are as follows-

  1. The candidates should prepare small notes of whatever they study.
  2. The candidates must do revision daily. This will help them to get perfection.
  3. The candidates should solve previous years’ papers or participate in mock tests for better preparation.
  4. The candidates must also give some time for recreation.
  5. The candidates should take a good amount of sleep because a compromise with sleep might lead to bad health or a bad mood.
  6. The candidates must be relaxed during the examination and focus only on the examination with a cool mind.

Cut-off Marks of UPCATET Exam 2021:

The cut-off mark is the minimum marks that the candidates must score in order to qualify an examination. The category wise cut-off marks for UPCATET as per the last year results is given below-

  1. Cut-off marks for the general category candidates- 20 percent.
  2. Cut-off marks for the SC and ST category candidates- 10 percent.

Uttar Pradesh CATET Exam Result:

The result of UPCATET will be released a few days after the completion of the examination on the official website of UPCATET https://upcatet.org/. The candidates will be able to check their result by following the procedure that has been mentioned below-

  1. The candidates should visit the official website of UPCATET, viz. https://upcatet.org/.
  2. Then, they should click the tab “UPCATET 2021 Result”.
  3. Next, they must enter the details that will be asked for.
  4. After that, the UPCATET 2021 Result will appear on the screen.
  5. Finally, they should download and then print the result for further use.

Counselling Process of UPCATET 2021:

  1. The candidates will be admitted on the basis of the merit list. 
  2. For admission, the candidates have to undergo a counselling after qualifying the written test. 
  3. The qualified candidates in the written examination will be allotted seats as per their preferred course and university via the counselling process.
  4. The seats are provided to the candidates on the basis of merit, their choice and reservation quota.
  5. After the results will be declared, the qualified candidates will be able to download their counselling letters by visiting the official website, that is, https://upcatet.org/. 
  6. The counselling letter will comprise of various details about the counselling, like the time, date and venue of the counselling.
  7. The candidates must attend the counselling according to the schedule that will be mentioned in their counselling letter.

The documents required during the counselling process:

The candidates must carry at least 5 copies of all the documents that have been mentioned below-

  1. Attested copies of the results and the certificates of class 10 and class 12.
  2. Original copy of sport weightage certificate.
  3. Copy of application form attested by Principal or Registrar or Dean of the last college or institution that have been attended by the candidate.
  4. Domicile certificate of the candidates issued by a competent authority.
  5. Original copy of character & conduct certificate from head of the last college or institution that have been attended by the candidate.
  6. Transfer Certificate or Migration Certificate (Original Copy).
  7. Passport sized photo with roll number and name written on the back side of the photo.
  8. Caste certificate issued after 31st March 2020 (Original Copy).
  9. Original as well as attested photo copy of the result and certificate of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. 
  10. An affidavit for discontinuity of more than 3 months after leaving institution or college that the candidate has last attended.
  11. 2 bank drafts of Rs.5000 and Rs.500 as initiation fee and counselling fee respectively.

If the candidates is unable to submit any of the documents that have been mentioned above, their candidature will be cancelled. The candidates who will not be able to appear at the time when their names will be called during counselling, their names will be called once again at the end of the counselling if there are still remaining seats.
