Supreme Court’s hearing on CBSE, CISCE Class 12th evaluation methodology is going on. Parents, students expressed concern about this evaluation plan.

According to the petitioners, if the compartment examination of CBSE will be conducted when the situation will be conducive, it will create various difficulties regarding the admission of the students to the higher institutions. The hearing regarding this matter by the Apex Court will take place on 22nd June 2021 at 02:00 p.m.

Vikas Singh (Senior Advocate) who has appeared on behalf of the association of parents has pointed out various issues that are possible in the scheme, devised by ICSE and CBSE. (Read Also Class 12 State Board CBSE Compartment Exams Cancellation)

A plea will be received by the Supreme Court about evaluation methods that have been adopted by the CBSE and CISCE for evaluation of CBSE and ICSE class 12 results. The hearing about this by the Apex Court will take place, which has been adjourned by the court on Monday.

Various concerns regarding the schemes for result evaluation has been flagged by the students and the parents’ association. They have said that there are many clauses which are arbitrary and for the students’ future prospects it will be detrimental.

Also, the Supreme Court has been told by both the CISCE and CBSE boards that the results for the CBSE and ICSE class 12 will be announced by 31st July 2021.

The students who want to appear for CBSE exam physically will be able to do so between 15th August 2021 and 15th September 2021 (subject to the conducive situation of the pandemic). According to CISCE, improvement exams of the students might start from 1st September 2021 (subject to the conducive pandemic situation).
