The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination to recruit candidates for various posts. This year also the recruitment notification for the SSC CHSL is out and the hiring is for Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A, and Data Entry Operator (DEO) posts in various government offices.
The SSC CHSL examination is held annually and consists of a written test followed by a skill test (typing test for DEO and data entry test for LDC). Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian National to apply for SSC CHSL posts. If any candidates of Nepal, Bhutan, or any other countries as mentioned in the official notification with intention of living in India permanently, should produce a valid citizenship certificate issues by the Government of India on or before the examination.
Age Criteria:
Candidate must be of minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years in order to apply for SSC CHSL recruitment 2022-23. That means, only the candidates born before 2004 and after 1995 are eligible to apply. For some candidates belonging to certain categories, age relaxation is provided.

Selection Process of SSC CHSL Bharti 2022-23:
The SSC CHSL written examinations are conducted in online mode, and the questions are in multiple-choice format. The test is conducted in English and Hindi, and candidates can choose the language in which they wish to take the test.
Tier 1 Exam Pattern: Tier 1 exam will have only objective type, written test. And this is the qualifying round for Tier 2 exam. There will be negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer given.
