The Staff selection commission was released vacancies at 10+2 level. The online application form for the combined higher secondary exam has been over on 27 March 2020. SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2020, SSC 10+2 Exam Scheme:

The Commission will consist of a computer-based Exam (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III).

SSC CHSL Tier-I Exam Pattern: SSC 10+2 Tier-I exam will consist of (Objective Type) multiple-choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English and Hindi for Paper-II, III & IV. There will be a genitive marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

 SSC CHSL Tier-II (Descriptive Paper):

The SSC 10+2 Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks in Pen and Paper Mode. The duration of the paper would be for one hour. This paper has been introduced to assess the writing skills of the candidates which are necessary for govt jobs.

SSC CHSL Tier-III Exam Pattern:

SSC LDC DEO (10+2) Tier-III of the exam would be the Skill Test/ Typing Test which would be of qualifying nature. The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined by the total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II.

Required Document with SSC SSC 10+2 Tier-I Hall Ticket 2020:

  • The Photo used by the aspirants must be a recent, relaxed face, and the picture should be in color against a light-colored, preferably white, background.
  • It is compulsory to carry a Photo ID such as Voter’s ID, Driving Licences, ID Cards issued by Govt or other offices where the candidates may be working.
  • Candidates should bring 3 passport size photographs for affixing it in the Commission’s copy of SSC CHSL Admit card 2020 in the presence of Invigilator if required
  • Possession of mobile phone & accessories and other electronic gadgets within the examination hall/ computer lab

SSC CHSL 2020 Selection Process:

Aspirants will be shortlisted for Tier-II exam by their performance in Tier-I Exam. There may be separate cut-offs for different posts, i.e., DEO, DEO Grade A, LDC/ JSA/PA/ SA in Tier-I and subsequent Tiers. Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination the basis of their performance in (Tier-I + Tier-II) subject to having a minimum score of 33% in Tier-II.

Note- Tier-III Examination, i.e.; Skill Test will be of the qualifying type. The candidates who qualify Tier-III will be called for Document Verification to check the eligibility in the online SSC CHSL Application Form.
