NERIST Admit Card 2021,NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) 2021 Admit card release date has been revised. It will be available for download on the official website (nerist.ac.in) of NERIST (North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology) from July 2021 (Postponed). To download the hall ticket or admit card candidate should visit the official website and log in using registered Email and password.

NERIST admit card will be issued only for those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form.  

NERIST Entrance Examination is a state-level examination conducted by NERIST in 3 phases i.e., NEE 1, NEE 2, NEE 3. This exam is conducted for the candidates who want to get admission in diploma and degree courses in technology.

Previously NEE 2021 scheduled to be conducted in the month of April, but it postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Now the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 8th and 9th August.

Eligibility criteria:

To appear in the NERIST Entrance Examination candidates should satisfy all the below mentioned criteria:

  1. Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen to appear in NEE 1, NEE 2 and NEE 3.  Foreign nationals are not eligible to appear in the examination.
  2. Age: The age criteria are different for different NEE levels. They are as follows:
  • To appear in NEE 1 the maximum age limit is 19 years for general categories, it is 22 years for OBC and female candidates and it is 24 years for SC/ST/PD candidates at the time of application.
  • To appear in NEE 2 the maximum age limit is 23 years for general categories, it is 26 years for OBC & female candidates and it is 28 for SC/ST/PD candidates at the time of application.
  • To appear in NEE 3 the maximum age limit is 40 years for general categories, it is 43 years for OBC & female candidates and it is 45years for SC/ST/PD candidates at the time of application.
  1. Educational Qualification: Candidates have to meet these academic qualifications to get into the course offered by NERIST 2021.
  • For NEE 1, candidates have to pass the 10th examination or equivalent with mathematics and science subjects.
  • For NEE 2, candidates have to pass 12th examination or equivalent with science subjects.
  • For NEE 3, candidates have to pass 3 year diploma from government institutes with a minimum of 60% marks.

Procedure to download NERIST NEE 2021 Admit card:

NERIST NEE 2020 admit card can be downloaded through online mode. Here is the step by step procedure in order to download the admit card. Candidates are requested to follow them:

Login Window

Then a login window will open. In this section, you will be asked to enter login credentials like your Email address and password.

Basic Details

The next step is to enter the above-mentioned details.

Submit Buttoon

Then click on ‘Submit’.

Download Admit Card

At last, you need to download this admit card and if you want, you can take printouts of the admit card. You are advised to take at least two prints for further use. 

Things to do if forgot login credentials:

If any candidate forgot their login credentials, he or she would not be able to download the NEE 2020 Admit card. To download this admit card, follow the steps mentioned below-

  • Go to the above mentioned official website of NERIST.
  • Then go to the ‘Online Application NEE-2020’ option on the portal.
  • Therefore, click on ‘Click Here’ link right beside ‘forgot password’.
  • After following the above mentioned step, you will be asked to enter Email Id and then click on the ‘Reset’ button.
  • Your password will be retrieved then and you are suggested to write down the password safely.

NERIST NEE 2021 Admit card has all the important details regarding candidate and the exam like candidate’s name, exam date, exam center number etc. Candidates have to report on allotted exam centres on time, as mentioned in the admit card. All these details are mentioned below:

  • Candidate’s name: Name of the aspirant who is appearing in NEE 2021.
  • Application number: Candidate’s application number given by the system.
  • Roll number: Roll number of the individual candidate.
  • Applied Program name: Name of the program for which the candidate applied.

Things to do if NEE 2021 admit card is not available: 

Admit card is the most important document to carry in the examination centre. In case if any candidate cannot download the NEE admit card, NERIST authority gives you the facility to appear in the exam.

For that, you need to bring the photocopy or Xerox copy of the registration confirmation page on the exam day. Also, you need to bring two recent colored photographs with the registration confirmation page.

Documents to carry on the NEE exam day:

NEE 2021 Admit card is a must to carry on the exam day. Along with the admit card, there are some more things that you must carry.

  1. A hard copy of the Admit card.
  2. One original photo ID proof (Aadhar card/ PAN card/ Passport/ Voter ID/Driving license).
  3. One photocopy of the ID card.
  4. Recent colored photograph (Passport size).
  5. Ballpoint pen (Blue/Black).
  6. Migration certificate.
  7. Category certificate if any (SC/ST/OBC), medical fitness certificate and income certificate of guardian.

Things not to carry in NERIST 2021 Examination centre:

Here is a list of unnecessary things that you are not allowed to carry on exam day. Sometimes they can lead you into legal problems. Just have a look at them.

NERIST Entrance Exam pattern:

The NEE exam pattern may have changes in every year. It is decided by the authority of NERIST. NEE 2021 will be conducted through offline mode means using pen and paper.

Though there are 1 mark and 2 marks questions in this exam, but the negative marking for every question is same that is 0.25 marks.

The exam pattern varies upon the level of the exam, for which the candidate is opting, that means whether it’s NEE 1 or NEE 2 or NEE 3. Check the below-mentioned pattern for different phases. 

  • NERIST 2021 – NEE 1: Total number of questions are 125, which has to be completed within 180 minutes. This examination consists of Multiple Choice Questions only. It has 35 Physics (1 mark for every question), 35 Chemistry (1 mark for every question) and 55 Biology questions (30 Biology questions carry 1 mark and rest carry 2 marks each).
  • NERIST 2021 – NEE 2: Total number of questions is 115 for PCM course, which has to be completed within 180 minutes.  All questions are of Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) type. It has 35 Physics, 35 Chemistry and 45 Mathematical questions. 25 Physics questions, 25 Chemistry questions and 30 Mathematical questions carry 1 mark each, and 10Physics, 10 Chemistry and 15 Mathematical questions carry 2 marks each.
  • NERIST 2021 – NEE 3: Total number of questions is 130, which has to be completed within 180 minutes. This examination consists of Multiple Choice Questions only. It has 25 Physics (1 mark for every question), 25 Chemistry (1 mark for every question), 30 mathematics (1 mark for every question) and 50 Vocational subject questions. 20 Vocational subject questions carry 2 marks each and rest questions carry 1 mark.

NERIST 2021 Examination schedule:

As per NERIST‘s official notification, NERIST Entrance Exam 2021 will be done in two days.August, 2021, NEE 2 and NEE 3 will be conducted.

In August, 2021 NEE 1 will be conducted. Candidates who are appearing in the exam have to download the admit card before the exam day.

Instructions for NERIST 2021 exam day:

Here, this article provides you a list of instructions that should be followed by every candidate on the day of exam. Check the given points:

  1. Bring your admit card or hall ticket, pen and clipboard.
  2. The candidates must be there prior to 30 minutes of commencement of the exam. No one will be allowed to enter later.
  3. No one is allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam is over.
  4. There should be no rough work on the OMR sheet. Candidate can do rough on question booklet only.
  5. Candidate must check and verify the version code on the question booklet with the admit card code. It should be the same.
  6. The invigilator will give a proper indication to open the question booklet seal. Don’t open this booklet seal without their permission.
  7. Candidate must write roll numbers carefully. If any mistake happens, no extra OMR sheet will be given. Also, do your signature in the proper space.
  8. The candidate must not tamper with the bar code on the OMR sheet.
  9. Candidate should not do any unfair practice in the examination hall.

NERIST, 2021 result:

The NERIST Entrance Exam 2021 result date is not issued till now. It will be announced on the official website of NERIST i.e. www.nerist.ac.in or www.neeonline.ac.in. Candidates can check their results using their User Id and password in the portal.

Keep checking the website to stay updated. The name of those candidates, who qualifies the exam, will be able to find their names on the list. Later they will be called to participate in the counseling procedure.

Can I get the permission to take entry in the main exam hall without my admit card?

No, without the NERIST NEE admit card, you cannot get entry inside the exam hall unless you have Registration Confirmation Page along with your two copy of photographs. This is advised that you need to keep your admit card safe and secure.
