The final date of the 10th & 12th Board examination will be announced by CBSE on 2nd February 2021 (Tuesday), as said by Honorable Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.
The records of 45-year will also be digitalized as said by the Honorable Education Minister. This new system will start from 1st March 2021, and it has been restructured according to the New Education Policy’s norms.
The exam of class 10 & 12 of the CBSE Board students is scheduled to be held from 4th May 2021 to 10th June 2021. The practical exam will take place from 1st March 2021 in their respective schools. The results are scheduled to be announced by 15th July 2021.
Generally, the practical examination takes place in January, whereas the written examination occurs in February-March, but the session has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some schools have even conducted the pre-board examination already to keep their students prepared for the examination.
Earlier this month, CBSE announced that the exam of class 10 & 12 boards would be conducted offline.
The schools all over India were closed from March 2020 due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools in some states have reopened partially on 15th October 2020. However, due to the rise in the number of infections, some states have decided to keep the schools closed for some more time.
Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has also said that the teachers have worked hard to ensure that their students need not face any problems in their studies, even in these challenging times.
It was also said by the Union Minister that, based on the consultations, guidelines would be prepared, which will be decided by the Ministry of Health & the Ministry of Home Affairs. He also said that their priority is the safety of the students.
Over 3 lakh & 2.5 lakh students have been registered for the examination of class 10th & 12th, respectively, in the national capital. It has also been suggested by the government of Delhi to conduct the pre-board examinations for class 10 from 1st April to 15th April & for class 12 from 20th March to 15th April.
To offer flexibility to students, the JEE Mains Exam is also announced to be held four times a year by the Ministry of Education so that they can also try & improve their scores in the exam. However, there is no notification about the NEET Exam till now.
