Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2021 exam will conduct by the State Government of Kerala for recruiting teachers for the government schools of Kerala. This is a state-level examination conducted adhering to the rules and regulations formulated by the National Council For Teacher Education.

The authorities will use this test to determine whether or not teachers are eligible to teach in government schools. Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2021 consists of four different exams for appointing teachers in four categories: Category I (Classes 1-5), Category II (Classes 6-8), Category III (9-10), and Category IV (Classes 11-15). (Classes 11-12).

Kerala TET Exam pattern :

Category I (Lower Primary Classes), Category II (Upper Primary Classes), Category III (High School Classes), and Category IV (Language Classes) have separate KTET exam patterns in 2021.

  • Each question is worth one mark.
  • Negative marking does not apply to unanswered questions or incorrect responses.
  • Each paper carries a total of 150 points.
  • Every paper will take 2.5 hours to complete.

Exam pattern For Category I : 

The KTET Category I paper is for teachers who choose to teach grades 1 to 5 in lower primary schools. A total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked in the KTET Category I paper. Candidates must complete the paper in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each question is worth one point.
