GATE Exam Syllabus 2020: – The Indian Institute of Technology has scheduled the GATE 2020 in February month. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be organized from 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th February 2020. To crack the exam and secure good exam score, aspirants need for latest GATE Exam preparation tips and study materials. There are 8 IITs which accepted the GATE Score for admission in UG PG programmes. Therefore candidates make Time Table for well preparing for GATE Entrance Test using GATE Syllabus 2020 & Exam Pattern.

GATE 2020 will be conducted for 24 subjects (also referred to as “papers”) and it would be distributed over 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th of February 2020. The GATE examination centers are spread in different cities across India, as well as, in six cities outside India. The examination would be purely a Computer Based Test (CBT).

GATE 2020 Exam Pattern:

The GATE 2020 exam will be held online through the computer-based test. Candidates have to solve the complete paper in 3 hours. There will total 65 questions will be asked in GATE Exam for maximum 100 marks. The GA (General Aptitude) section is common in all papers. It will contain a total 150 questions for maximum 15 marks (5 Questions of 1 Mark and 5 Questions of 2 marks).

There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for the questions carrying 1 mark. Likewise, for questions carrying 2 marks, 2/3 marks will be deducted. No negative marking for Numerical Answer Type questions. GATE Syllabus 2020 are descirpbed in details below here
