NTA UGC NET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.

Aspirants who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or aspirants who have participated for their qualifying Master’s Degree exam and whose result is still awaited or aspirants whose qualifying exams have been delayed may also apply for this post.

Age Limit:

JRF: Not more than 30 years. A relaxation up to 5 years is given to the aspirants belonging to OBC SC/ST/PwD categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/ related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on the production of a certificate from the appropriate authority.

Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for the Assistant professor.

UGC NET Exam 2020 Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay the candidates through online mode via Net Banking, Credit Card/Debit Card, etc.

  • OBC Category:- Rs.400/- and

Note: GST/Processing charges & GST are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable. Make a payment of fee using SBI_MOPS and keep proof of the fee paid.

NTA NET Exam Pattern 2020 Latest NET Syllabus:

The National Testing Agency will be organizing the National Eligibility Test 2020 from 15 June to 20 June 2020. The NET December Exam will be held for 100 Marks. The exam has two papers, i.e., Paper-I and Paper-II. In this exam, 50 objective type questions will be asked. The NET Paper-II will be 200 Marks, and total questions in Paper-II will be 100.
