AIMS Portal registration procedure:

All Indian railway employees can register themselves in the AIMS Portal through the official website of www.indianrailways.gov.in or can use the AIMS mobile app which is launched by Railway authority. To get registered yourself in AIMS Portal you can follow the step-by-step procedure that is mentioned below:

The first step is to open your preferred browser and either visit the official website www.indianrailways.gov.in or navigate the official website. 
The home page of the AIMS Portal will open as soon as you visit that website. 
Then click on “Employee Self Service” from the home page. You can find the option on the left side of the home page.
After clicking you will be able to see a new web page. It is the log-in page. From there click on the “New User Registration” link at the bottom of the page.
Through this registration link, you will be redirected to the AIMS Portal Registration page. 
There you will be asked to enter your Employee Number, Mobile Number, and Date of birth. Enter all these required details in their respective field carefully. The birth date should be in DD/MM/YYYY format.
Click on “Submit” after entering the details.
Then, your mobile number will be verified. To verify your number you have to send the “START” text to 09821736069. A confirmation message will be sent to your mobile number.
After successful verification, an initial password will send to your verified mobile number. You can change this password later. (An advice for all the employees that keep the password safe as it will be needed for future references).
The RESS registration process completes here and you are allowed to access AIMS Portal thereafter.

AIMS Portal Login procedure:

After successful registration, you can easily log in by using your login credentials like user Id and password. This article also provides the detailed procedure of login for your convenience,

  • Open the official website of Indian Railways i.e. www.indianrailways.gov.in in your browser.
  • From the opened web page click on “Employee Self Service”.
  • The AIMS Portal login page will open. There enter your User Id and password in their respective field.
