Indian Air Force has released AFCAT Notification and invites AFCAT-02/2021 Application form for Admission to various branches. Qualified candidates will able to take admission in Flying Branch and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. AFCAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification- Flying Branch: Aspirants should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR
BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:
Minimum 60% marks in Graduation (inclusive of 4 year course and Integrated Post Graduation Course) in any stream along with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 12th Standard Board or Equivalent Or Minimum 60% marks in section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).
Ground Duty Non-Technical
Minimum of 60% marks in Graduation in any stream Or Minimum 60% marks in section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).
IAF AFCAT-02/2021 Age Limit:
Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry- The age of the candidates should be 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2002. Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 1994 to 01 January 2000.
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive)
AFCAT Exam 2021 Application Fee
Candidates have to pay the application fee through given mode. All candidates will pay Rs 250/-. The payment will be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Challan. The Application fee exempted for NCC Special Entry & Metrology Entry.

Eligible candidates will first register with a Valid E-Mail ID and Mobile Number. After Completion the AFCAT online Registration Process, aspirants will log in using USER ID and Password. AFCAT Exam Pattern 2021
The Air force Common admission test (AFCAT- 02/2021) will organize for Technical and Non-Technical aspirants. Engineering Knowledge test only will conduct for Ground Duty (Technical Braches). The Total marks will be 450. There are total 150 questions will be made from various subjects. The Question paper consists of General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.
