Why Were the Exam Dates Changed?
MPPSC had initially scheduled the State Service Main Examination from August 17 to August 22. However, many aspirants preparing for both MPPSC and UPSC pointed out that the dates overlapped with the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination beginning on August 21.
Considering the concerns of candidates, the commission decided to revise the schedule and advance the examination dates. The move has been welcomed by aspirants, as it will allow them to appear for both prestigious examinations without any conflict.
Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who have successfully qualified the MPPSC State Service Preliminary Examination 2025 are eligible to appear for the Main Examination.

Application Fee
Candidates belonging to reserved categories of Madhya Pradesh, including SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwD, will have to pay an application fee of ₹400.
