SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admission 2026 Registration Started, Check Eligibility, Exam Date and Application Process.The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has started the online registration process for Assam D.El.Ed PET Admission 2026 for candidates seeking admission into the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course for the academic session 2026-2028.

Interested and eligible candidates can now submit their application forms online through the official portal. The Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 will be conducted for admission into various Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) across Assam, including DIETs, CTEs, Normal Schools, BITEs, BTCs, and private institutes recognized by NCTE.

The online application process began on 21 May 2026 and candidates can apply till 10 June 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam D.El.Ed PET 2026

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions before filling the application form.

Educational Qualification

Applicants should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories are eligible with 45% marks.

Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18 and 34 years of age as on 1 July 2026.

  • Upper age limit for SC/ST candidates: 36 years

Domicile

Only permanent residents of Assam are eligible to apply for the examination.
