JHTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should carefully check the eligibility conditions before submitting the application form.

Paper I (Primary Level – Classes 1 to 5)

Applicants must have completed Senior Secondary (10+2) along with the required teacher education qualification such as D.El.Ed., B.El.Ed., Diploma in Special Education, or any equivalent qualification recognized under the prescribed norms.

Paper II (Upper Primary Level – Classes 6 to 8)
